cPanel and WHM have run shared hosting for a long time, and it shows. HostCraft is a modern replacement: one panel for the server admin, resellers and account owners, with the everyday jobs of running a hosting server in a clean, fast interface.

It covers websites, databases, email, DNS, files, FTP, cron, Git, backups and WordPress for each account, with a security page that brings the firewall, malware scanning and file integrity monitoring together. A built-in migration tool reviews a cPanel account and brings its sites, mailboxes, databases and DNS across.

HostCraft is being tested on JCR's own servers first. It will then be licensed to other web hosts, agencies and resellers, with a free tier and paid tiers. Prices and a date come when testing is done.

Features

One panel for every role

A server admin view with accounts, resellers, plans and live resource usage, and an account view with each owner's sites, limits and quick actions.

Migrate from cPanel

Review an account before moving it, map IP addresses, choose what comes across, from mailboxes and DNS to databases, SSL, cron jobs and FTP accounts, then start the migration.

Security in one place

A web application firewall, CrowdSec, malware scanning, RASP and file integrity monitoring, with their health and recent events on one page.

Everything an account needs

Websites, databases, email, DNS, files, FTP, cron, applications, Git, a terminal, backups and WordPress.

Watching the server

Live CPU, memory, disk and network, and a health monitor that checks every minute and raises alerts in the panel, by email or by webhook.
